Concussion Policy

All concussions must be reported to your league rep and your league rep will report all concussions to the league secretary by email within 72 hours of incident.
All players believed to have sustained a possible concussion at a game or practice are not permitted to dress or participate until medical clearance from a doctor has been received, specifically stating the child is cleared to resume tackle football activities.
Any coach/club who knowingly plays a concussed player without clearance will be charged with playing an inelligible player and suspended a minimum of one game plus any sanctions (under ineligible players bylaw)
All PCYFL coaches must sign the PCYFL Coaches Responsibility form. All players and their parent/guardian must sign the PCYFL Concussion Acknowledgement form. These forms will be provided by your PCYFL League Rep.
